PIONEER CDJ 900

01/02/11

CDJ 900 released in September of 2009 by Pioneer is one piece of beauty that a serious club should have as a standard at least. Its dissapointing seeing clubs that still have cdj 100s and 200 as then they expect dj's to really enjoy their sets. My job is to review this piece of beauty that I would not mind in my bed room.

CDJ 900 can play from various different music sources, that includes CD, USB (MP3 player, Ipod) and Laptop . It also comes with with software (rekordbox™) that helps you to manage your tracks better . Rekordbox is compatible for both Mac and PC users and is very easy to use software. Rekordbox allows DJs to prepare more before their performance and opens a door to tools such as Quantize for perfectly synced loops every time. DJs can then export data to a USB device to access vast libraries of music files and perform live - without the need for extra equipment or any inconvenient rewiring in the club. Each an every CDJ has to have something that others might not possess and the CDJ 900 have three exclusives, those are the Auto Beat Loop, Quick Return scratch feature and a Slip mode that enables DJs to perform tricks and return to their original flow in an uninterrupted fashion.

After checking and doing research about this beautiful piece of love, I would have loved the opportunity to explore it and have a good weekend session with it at home so I could write more about it. That part of the review section would have came from deep with in my soul. I got admit the time I had with it was sufficient enough for me to know if you claim to be a dj yet you have never played with these or played with something better then please do not call yourself a dj. I suggest next time you get booked, put on your contract you do not use CDJ 100s and not even CDJ 200 but CDJ 900 you talking.
