South Africa Under 23 will take on host Senegal on Saturday at the u23 Africa Cup of Nations. While teams will look to win this event, the bigger picture is the Olympics qualification happening in Rio next year (2016).

The South African team has some Cape Town boys in the team but non of them are from ekasi. That is not a bad thing but it is bad when the ones that should have picked are overlooked.

3 players made that were overlooked are Ayanda Patosi, Bantu Mzwakhali and Ayabulela Maqwaka.

Ayanda Patosi:

Ayanda Patosi with Menzi Masuku and Keegan Dolly would have caused a lot of damage at the u23 Africa Cup of Nations. South Africa has seen the potential threats that Patosi has done when he has combined well Thulani Serero and May Mahlangu in the senior national team. He should be the captain of the actually.

Bantu Mzwakhali:

Bantu would not have made the started XI but going forward he would have been a great addition to the team. Bantu has been a key part in Ajax recent success in the last 2 seasons. His playing in South Africa's premier stage week in week out. His not potential is not pictured on the bench but it can be seen on the football field.

Ayabulela Maqwaka:

Out of all the teenagers that Shakes Mashaba has picked for Bafana Bafana, he has suffered the biggest loss. Today he sees his defensive partner in Rivaldo Coetzee making it big. Funny thing when Aya was not playing at Ajax he was being picked but not his playing week in week out at AmaZulu but gets overlooked. There was a reason, Shakes Mashaba picked this boy for Bafana and that reason is still there. Aya should have been in that team.

Either way good luck to the players and hopefully you guys qualify as these 3 could still make the Olympic squad next year.
